Hello, and welcome to my education blog, Education for the Masses! Let me introduce myself: My name is Ben Johnson. I am a University of Oregon graduate with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History, and I am currently working towards my Master’s of Arts in Teaching (MAT) so that I may become a secondary educator for history.
To quickly sum it up, the purpose of this blog is to express my thoughts on education, to explore what makes an effective teacher, and to discuss how I wish to structure my future classroom environment.
I already have some ideas for future posts, but feel free to leave a comment if you would like to make any suggestions for what I should discuss.
